SALES ACCOUNT DIRECTOR

Job Description

A Sales Account Director is responsible for expanding Monster XP’s national and regional presence in the retail, experiential and trade show categories. This employee helps drive new sales, acquires new business relationships as well as maintains existing relationships and strives to achieve increased revenue through implementation of fresh, innovative strategies.

Responsibilities 

  • Aggressively prospect and generate new relationships with national and regional agencies and brands within the assigned markets (East Coast, Mid-America, West Coast)
  • Execute on sales plan and strategies to achieve target sales goals per budget
  • Consistently work with senior management to continually fine tune the sales efforts for Monster XP
  • Understand client’s needs, brand and key message points, and present ideal solutions that meet those needs and exceed expectations
  • Generate a high volume of sales activity including cold calls, presentations, proposals and meetings.
  • Utilize existing experience and contacts to generate new potential revenue
  • Actively pursue involvement in speaking engagements/boards within vertical
  • Work collaboratively with all internal departments and sales teams to generate business and expand existing accounts across all verticals
  • Report monthly and annual forecast and results to senior management on a regular basis

Requirements

  • 5+ years of advertising or marketing sales experience in digital media (or related areas), preferably in the retail, experiential or trade show markets, with a demonstrated track record of consistently meeting and outperforming revenue goals
  • Extensive experience canvassing and cold-calling into brands, agencies, etc.
  • Familiar with Out of Home, Digital Out of Home, Retail and Social Media
  • Proven track record of winning new business and maintaining those relationships
  • Experience and knowledge of retail design, production and execution a plus.
  • Current knowledge and up to date with trends within the digital, retail or experiential industries.
  • Extensive list of connections with agencies, stores and clients/brands direct
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly self-motivated with a desire to learn and develop new skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and mange time effectively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and social media platforms
  • Excellent public speaking skills
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Must be able to travel

INTERACTIVE DESIGNER/DEVELOPER (UI)

Job Description

Responsible for production and execution of experiential interactive projects for Digital Out of Home and Retail environments for high-profile, national clients. User Interface Interactive Designers/Developers at Monster XP work in a small team environment, collaborating with Account Managers, Interactive Developers, Software Engineers and Agency Partners.

Responsibilities 

  • Participate in the conceptualization of interactive experiences that are engaging and deliver the brand’s message.
  • Create, improve and use wireframes, prototypes, style guides, user flows, design mockups and effectively communicate your interaction ideas using any of these methods.
  • Present and defend your design decisions. All your design decisions should be based on the overall design roadmap as well as your own design thinking and fundamental principles
  • Work on multiple production phases while adhering to creative direction, technical specifications, client’s brand identity and meeting deadlines.
  • Continually keep yourself updated with the latest changes in industry’s standards.

Requirements

  • College degree in a digital design field or equivalent work experience.
  • Required professional work experience with interactive media.
  • Experience crafting UI for a variety of different types of applications.
  • Thorough understanding of composition, typography, and color theory.
  • Fundamental knowledge of information architecture and hierarchy.
  • Superior knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite of products.
  • Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.

ACCOUNT COORDINATOR

Job Description

The Account Coordinator is responsible for day-to-day coordination of agency process and maintaining client contact for multiple accounts. Above all, the Account Coordinator is expected to manage and exceed client expectations for all facets of client management, content development and project execution. The Account Coordinator is expected to work with agency staff members to ensure the highest standards of quality of client materials and, as appropriate, develop best practices protocols for quality control for projects while also working to ensure a positive, collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities 

  • Initiate and maintain day-to-day client contact and provide guidance through Monster XP’s 4-Step Creative Process.
  • Plan and schedule all client meetings/conference calls to discuss the Monster XP production and fulfillment processes.
  • Follow up with clients to ensure their inquiries have been dealt with in a satisfactory, timely manner.
  • Communicate internally with Creative, Operations, Production and other agency departments to ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Track installation process and completion of Monster XP activations.
  • Validate completion of Monster XP activation post-launch by gathering proof of performance from appropriate sources.
  • Report internally, on a regular basis, on client performance metrics.
  • Responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase client retention and grow revenue from existing clients.
  • Assist in supporting Monster XP’s sales efforts through database management and proposal formulation as needed.
  • Assists Mangers and/or Directors on various projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or communications field desirable.
  • At least 2 years of professional work experience with interactive media.
  • Previous advertising agency experience desired in Account or Project Management.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively (proactive, not reactive thinker).
  • High-level client management, communication, interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of database management.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Photoshop experience preferred.
