Our Mobile-Activated Golf Game Gets People Moving

Monster XP partnered with TAXI and Mohegan Sun to create The Mohegan Sun Drive Competition, a fun, non-touch interactive golf game to help increase visitors to resort locations. We secured a large storefront in New York’s bustling Financial District where consumers were invited to take a swing for their chance to win a prize!

Participants used their mobile phones to activate the system via SMS, web browser, NFC or QR Code. Once activated, people were required to enter their email address to play and then used their phone to swing. A leaderboard tracked the distance of the shots, and the longest drive each week had a chance to win a prize!
