The Crown Jewel of Retail Pop-Up

We all know Neil Lane is a celebrated designer, collector, curator, and bridal authority.  His line of engagement rings for Kay Jewelers are always top sellers because they “capture the glamour of the past with modern flair”.  So, when Kay Jewelers wanted to create an interactive retail pop-up experience to feature his jewelry, it had to be special.  Partnering with and taking direction from the talented team over at PopUpMob, the end results for the “Style Your Wedding” promotion were a shining success.

 

Here’s How it Worked

Consumers walked into the diamond-themed space and were asked to answer a few questions on our touchscreen, tabletop kiosks. Based on their responses, each visitor was matched with one of Neil Lane’s signature wedding styles, given a physical key to “Unlock Your Forever”, and then directed to a corresponding room in the pop-up with flowers, dresses, decor, and, of course, jewelry that fit their style. After shopping in that area, they went into a phone booth to share their dream ring style (along with their ring size – just in case they needed to give that extra hint) with the one they loved. There were some amazing stories shared and a lot of excited people during this 3-day event! As an added bonus for Kay Jewelers, we tracked the usage and selections on the interactive experiences and collected demographic and contact information for all visitors to the pop-up.
